Ecological antibacterial treatment of textile materials
The dissertation focuses on antibacterial finishing with minimal environmental impact. The basis of the finish is a PVA layer with purposefully selected modifiers. The aim is to quantify relevant properties of textiles with deposited antibacterial layer, such as: antibacterial and antiviral properties, resistance of the treatment in washing, basic mechanical and comfort properties. In addition, the possibility of using PVA layers with selected modifiers as a functional component of membrane systems for apparel applications is verified.
